Having Trouble Posting?
« on: June 12, 2007, 08:00:19 PM »
Read this VERY carefully.

=====

If you have recently signed up for a CGCHAR account and cannot post, it is usually due to one of the following:

1) An administrator has not had time to activate your account.  All accounts are activated manually.
2) You are not using a full first and last name.  This is a CGCHAR rule.  It is stated when you sign up.  You can either sign up again with a real first and last name or provide that information to an administrator and you will be granted access.
3) You did not activate your account after receiving an automated email from CGCHAR.  Please check your email box.

If multiple days have gone by and you still cannot post, please reply here and I will look into the matter.

The process of setting up a new account on CGCHAR consists of the following:

1) You register as a new user using your FULL FIRST AND LAST NAME.
2) You respond to the activation email that arrives to whatever email address you supplied.
3) You can now log in, but cannot post or start a new topic.
4) After an administrator has had a chance to verify new users, you will be given posting privileges.  This usually takes 1-3 days.

Because of spam, guests will no longer be able to post in the forum.  You must be validated first.

If you have a problem with an account that has not been validated, please send me a private message.
