Climax are one of the leading creative lights of independent games development and is currently working with publishing partners that include amongst others: EIDOS, Konami and THQ on stunning projects such and Silent Hill as well as our groundbreaking original next-gen game for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Climax truly is an exciting and fun place to work and has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced combat 3D Animator on a forthcoming next-gen, survival horror game.

Our ideal candidate will be:

• An exceptionally good character animator with extensive combat experience.
• A motivated individual with attention to details and respects deadlines & budgets. Who is task driven with excellent time management skills and with the ability to prioritise their work as well as the team members beneath them.
• Able to supply well-presented examples or a pertinent show reel that demonstrate your knowledge and execution of timing, weight, expression, posing in relation to combat based animations etc.
• Able to showcase a wealth of different combat based animation skills from realistic through to monster and quadrupeds.
• Experienced enough to have worked on one or more published titles at an experienced/ senior level of responsibility as a character animator.
• Professionally conversant in Maya.
• Professional and effective at communicating directives,
• Experienced at troubleshooting technical problems and creating solutions with regards to 3D animation in a game engine, from constraints to exporting, whatever the problem may be.
