No.  We used to allow this, however people were taking advantage of the situation by coming in and giving the sales pitch of their products when they never partipate in the forums otherwise.  Unfortunately, in order to stop these renegades from taking advantage of the situation, we had to ban all forms of advertising on CGCHAR by members.

The good news, advertising on this website by way of banners is extremely affordable.  There are not many places you can promote your services or products to such a focused community for such a low cost.  The reason it is affordable, is because CGCHAR is not in the business of making money, but providing a service to its users.
