John Cusack has replaced Christian Slater in the voice cast of the computer-animated feature comedy Igor. Cusack will voice the title character, a gifted hunchback scientist who is forced to serve a cruel scientist named Dr. Glickenstein. Sean Hayes ("Will & Grace") has joined the cast as one of Igor's sidekick, Brian the Brain, a brain in a jar.

The voice cast also includes Jeremy Piven, Jay Leno, Jennifer Coolidge, Molly Shannon, Steve Buscemi and John Cleese. Tony Leondis is directing. The film is set for an October 24, 2008, release via the Weinstein Co.   Source: Reuters
