Sony Pictures Animation releases its first attempt at an animated feature on DVD today. Open Season is the tale of unlikely forest friends that turn the tables on a group of hunters. The DVD arrives in standard and Blu-Ray versions. Extras include an all new animated short featuring the film's lead characters - Boog and Elliot.
Other additions to the disc includes deleted scenes, commentaries, a game, a music video, behind the scenes featurette, a photo gallery, storyboards, multi angle breakdown of the river sequence, and more. There is also a sneak peak of their next CG feature Surf's Up! The disc also contains 3 easter eggs that offer behind the scenes looks.
