Taking in an estimated $42million during its opening weekend, Happy Feet came in first place over the weekend.  So much for the CG animation glut.  If you listen to the BO receipts, audiences are still interested in CG animated films.  Will we start to see a few positive articles?  Or, will the tidal wave of anti-animation stories continue to make the headlines?

... : Josh I think I was the only person at the animation studio I work at who has been looking forward to Penguins since I saw the first teaser for it. Everyone else just gave me strange looks and wondered how I could want to see it. Nice to see it came in at #1, when it's out in Australia I'll be seeing it November 23, 2006
