Side Effects Announces Siggraph Lineup |

Side Effects software recently announced their plans for this year’s SIGGRAPH in Boston. Artists from the industry’s top visual effects houses will be showcasing their work from summer blockbusters like Superman Returns and The Ant Bully. To add to the festivities, an authentic pub night will also be taking place on Tuesday, August 1.
“SIGGRAPH is a time for us to catch up with current members of the close-knit Houdini community as well as discover many new ones,” says Kim Davidson, President and CEO of Side Effects Software. “We’re excited to be in Boston this year demonstrating what Houdini can do for studios involved in both feature film and broadcast projects.”
Side Effects Software will be located at booth #1731. Along with their own Houdini experts demonstrating the features of the newest release, the following presenters will be on-hand revealing inside information on the making of blockbuster films and commercials: Derek Spears from Rhythm & Hues, Superman Returns; David Santiago from DNA, The Ant Bully; Darren Lurie from Sony Pictures Imageworks, Open Season; and David Mellor from Framestore-CFC, Guinness and Rexona commercials.
