With this free service, you are given an opportunity to meet new people from your current relationships or simply keep track of your current friends and coworkers as they move from job to job. This is just another tool to help you find jobs, further your career and make new industry relationships. There is a slight difference between a traditional LinkedIn connection and a group connection. First and foremost, if 100 people are connected to a group-- one person cannot get the direct contact information of another group member unless they allow such contact. No one can be spammed or has access to any information you do not want them to have access to. It is simply a way to start making connections.
