CGCHAR began in 1996 as a mailing list and quickly grew to more than 5,000 subscribers. Somewhere along the way, it became too much to handle in that format and was turned into a forum. More than 12 years later, CGCHAR is still going. While the posting traffic is not as strong as it once was, the value that we offer to the animation community is still there. Take a few moments and join our linkedIn group and participate in the forum.

In order to simplify everything, the website format has changed slightly. Instead of seeing animation and industry news in this space, you will now see any important CGCHAR news or blog entries here. News has moved completely back to the forum. The "Animation News" tab menu above and the menu to the left will now redirect you to the News Forum.
