DreamWorks is releasing images and press releases regarding the upcoming CG feature film Monsters Vs Aliens.  The movie will release on March 27th, 2009 and re-invents the classic monster movie into a modern day action comedy.  You can read the full press release below and see a promotional image.

This one man show, also known as CGCHAR has not had much news posted lately.  I (Rick May) will take full blame for that.  It has been a very busy several months and I'm behind in just about everything.  Not just this website.  While I cannot promise to be 100% gung-ho about posting new News, I'll make a good effort.
 
Bee Movie on HDDVD

DreamWorks has revealed full details for its March debut of Bee Movie, which is due to hit HD DVD with a hive worth of bonus features and high-def exclusives. The studio previously announced a March 11 HD DVD debut for the $150 million-plus grossing Jerry Seinfeld animated adventure. Now the full specs are in, with Paramount pulling out all the stops for a two-disc HD DVD release, packed with extras.  Article can be read here

 
Toy Story Goes 3-D

The Walt Disney Studios is taking the latest advances in digital 3-D technology "to infinity and beyond" with ambitious plans to debut new Disney Digital 3-D versions of Disney-Pixar's Toy Story on October 2nd, 2009, and "Toy Story 2" on February 12th, 2010, it was announced by Dick Cook, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios. Both of these beloved animated features are being newly converted to 3-D in advance of the June 18th, 2010 release of Disney-Pixar's "Toy Story 3," which is being produced as a 3-D motion picture and will represent the state-of-the-art for the genre. Veteran Pixar filmmaker Lee Unkrich (co-director "Toy Story 2") is directing. 

 
G-Force gets voice

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Penelope Cruz, Nicolas Cage, Steve Buscemi, and Tracy Morgan will voice characters in the upcoming CG/Live Action feature G-Force.  Directed by VFX vet, Hoyt Yeatman, the story is about an elite guinea pig commando force that is asked to stop a billionaire from world domination.  The film comes from Walt Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.
